Aunt Sarah
Shoshana Eden's beloved aunt, who was devoted to helping the poor. She was discreet about that, and hid under her shawl the soup bowl she was carrying.
Basia Banner and her Mother
Basia Banner (1917-1942) and her mother Nechama (1888-1942) enjoy reading in Shabbat morning. The community kept a large library of Yiddish and Hebrew books, and Basia and her mother were avid readers.
